Item description

The Hanwag Tatra Light Wide GTX is a pleasantly light and comfortable walking boot with an ergonomic design and a wider fit with a wider forefoot. The core of this hiking boot is the stable lightweight sole. This is due to the special profile design and Hanwag 3D PrismBase technology. As a result, the walking boot has a new Hanwag Integral Light sole. This lower sole improves stability and retains perfect cushioning. The hiking boot also has an upper of suede and polyamide with a lining of Gore-Tex, which makes the hiking boot waterproof and ensures good breathability. The walking boot is in category B for walking shoes.

Category B

These boots provide excellent support and can therefore be used for multi-day hikes. The trecking or hiking boots have a sole that is more rigid than in Category A and the shoes also feature a higher shaft, providing better support to the ankles. The hiking boots are suitable for mountainous terrains, but for the real mountains, the sole is too lenient.
