Extra protection is also present around the metatarsal bones in the tongue of the skate. This tongue is covered with felt for an even warmer and softer feeling. The soft footbed of this skate will optimally conform to the foot so that it will feel soft and you can optimally transfer your weight onto the skates. The microfibre lining is very soft, but also hydrophobic, which means perspiration is transported away. This helps to prevent bad odours from forming.
