The Benchmade Aileron folding knife was developed in a collaboration between Benchmade and Steve Tarani for the aviation industry. Input for the model was obtained from pilots and aircraft carriers officers. The knife has a wide CPM S30V blade with lasered texture and has a drop point blade. With this model, the blade has a black Cerakote finish. The handle is made from G10 with texture for a good grip and has a black reversible tip up clip.
