Water Bottle CamelBak Eddy 0.75 L Cardinal
Item description
This drinking bottle is from the brand CamelBak and comes from the famous Eddy series. The ideal thing about the CamelBak Eddy drinking bottle is that the drinking nozzle opens by gently biting on it, and the drinking nozzle closes itself when you are not drinking. This means the bottle cannot leak. The integrated straw ensures that you do not have to tilt the bottle to drink from it. The drinking bottle is easy to carry using the handle.
About CamelBak
It's 1988, and bicycle enthusiast Michael Eidson, is competing in a 100-mile race in the grueling summer heat of Wichita Falls, Texas. Water is vital to surviving the race. Eidson, decides to fill an IV bag with water and slip it into a white tube sock, he then stuffs the contraption into the back of his bike jersey, throws the thin hose over his shoulder and clamps it with a clothespin. Hands-free hydration is born. This fundamental idea was the basis for a whole range of water bottles and hydration devices now produced by the brand Camelbak. The core values remain the same even though the situation has changed- from inventing the hydration category to becoming the world's leading maker of hydration solutions.

- The bottle has lasted 2 years ago far. It's been super easy to keep clean and the carry handle clips to my scissor lift which is awesome
- The straw mounting mechanism is not designed for long term use.
- The whole "bite to open" deal is kinda gross. Also not designed for long term use .
- After about a year with weekly washings the plastic has "clouded". I feel that is due to repeated automatic dishwasher cycles.
Overall, you couldn't ask for more from a personal water flask. It's rugged and durable. It's lasted two years of continuous use on construction job sites. In my opinion that itself is a golden accolade. The mounting mechanism for the straw failed after 18 months or so. But that didn't matter as the draw nipple became worn and unusable after only 6 months. Great product. Will definitely purchase again!
