Walking Shoe Lowa Tibet GTX Ws Navy
Item description
This walking shoe from Lowa is suitable for the toughest trecks or multi-day alpine expeditions. The Tibet GTX is made from high quality nubuck leather, resistant to the most severe trials. The flexible padding in the shaft (FlexFit) makes the shoe extremely comfortable to wear. In addition, the shoe is made with Lowa X-Lacing, so that the fixture of the tongue is both on vertical and horizontal level. This prevents shifting of the tongue which can cause painful friction and pressure spots. The GORE-TEX® lining keeps the hiking boot waterproof and breatheable. This will help you be less prone to foot odours. And that's not all, because the shoe also has a dedicated Masai Vibram sole. The sole has a self-cleaning section, so that dirt naturally falls out from under the shoe and you maintain optimum grip. The studs of the shoe have an inhibitory effect. At the tip of the sole, there is a Climbing Zone. The Tibet GTX is suitable for all types of crampons. In short, a shoe that you won't want to take off your feet!
LOWA Size Guide
LOWA works with specific shoe sizes. You can use our size guide below to determine the size you need. Note: The sizes and dimensions are simply indications and can sometimes differ. When trekking and hiking, it's of vital importance that your footwear fits properly and comfortably. Your heel needs to sit securely in the back and your toes need to have enough room in the front. You can test this by putting the shoes on without tying up the laces. If it seems that there is a bit too much room at the sides or that it's a bit loose, then the heel is too wide for your feet. A top tip for checking if a shoe is the right size for you is seeing whether there is enough space for you to fit your finger between the tip of the shoe and your toes.
Category C
The hiking boots in category C are suitable for heavy trecking in the mountains, for example, a multi-day alpine hike in the Alps. The shoes have a stiff sole that is suitable for flexible crampons. The shoes are also suitable for rock climbing. Using these shoes for a flat walk is not recommended, as the stiff sole makes normal foot motion almost impossible on flat ground.
