Item description

Lowa's Simon II hiking shoe is designed for children who are going to undertake challenging walks. This shoe has a top that combines suede and fabric to create a firm shoe which is not too heavy and has good breathability. To ensure that this shoe is waterproof and has a lot of comfort, the lining is made of Gore-Tex material. This material will keep your child's feet dry. In the extended height of the shoe supports the frame for the foot and ensures good stability, especially on hilly terrain. The sole is an AL-K IV sole that guarantees stability while the Monowrap technology forms to your foot to get even more stability. The profile is made so that there is excellent grip.

LOWA Kids Size Guide

LOWA works with specific shoe sizes. You can use our size guide below to determine the size your child needs. Note: The sizes and dimensions are simply indications and can sometimes differ. When trekking and hiking, it's of vital importance that your footwear fits properly and comfortably. Your heel needs to sit securely in the back and your toes need to have enough room in the front. You can test this by putting the shoes on without tying up the laces. If it seems that there is a bit too much room at the sides or that it's a bit loose, then the heel is too wide for your feet. A top tip for checking if a shoe is the right size for you is seeing whether there is enough space for you to fit your finger between the tip of the shoe and your toes. If there is not enough space, then the shoe is too large; it's important to have this space so as to prevent your toes hitting the shoe when walking downhill.

These boots provide excellent support and can therefore be used for multi-day hikes. The trecking or hiking boots have a sole that is more rigid than in Category A and the shoes also feature a higher shaft, providing better support to the ankles. The hiking boots are suitable for mountainous terrains, but for the real mountains, the sole is too lenient.
