Item description

This sturdy Tatra Lady GTX walking shoe is from the quality brand, Hanwag, allowing you to walk well-prepared on challenging routes. These shoes are made of supple and strong nubuck leather, protecting your feet whilst lasting a long time. This shoe also has a special system that will create better air circulation, which will keep your feet fresher for longer. This shoe has fewer seams and will therefore have less abrasion to your foot, resulting in less irritation. The outer sole of this shoe is made of Vibram rubber, which gives you a good grip and good shock absorption so you can keep comfortable walking regardless of the surface.

Hanwag Size Guide

Hanwag works with specific shoe sizes. You can use our size guide below to determine the size you need. Note: The sizes and dimensions are simply indications and can sometimes differ. HANWAG makes use of specific shoe fittings, for example a Narrow fit, Wide fit, or Bunion fit. If a HANWAG shoe has been designed with a special fit, this is mentioned in the product title / description. If there is no mention of a specific type of fit, then you can assume that the shoe in question has a standard / average fit. HANWAG Narrow fit is suitable for those with a smaller foot width, HANWAG Wide fit is suitable for those with a larger foot width, and HANWAG Bunion fit is suitable for people whose big toe is crooked and bends towards their other toes (Hallux Valgus). When trekking and hiking, it's of vital importance that your footwear fits properly and comfortably. Your heel needs to sit securely in the back and your toes need to have enough room in the front. You can test this by putting the shoes on without tying up the laces. If it seems that there is a bit too much room at the sides or that it's a bit loose, then the heel is too wide for your feet. A top tip for checking if a shoe is the right size for you is seeing whether there is enough space for you to fit your finger between the tip of the shoe and your toes. If there is not enough space, then the shoe is too large; it's important to have this space so as to prevent your toes hitting the shoe when walking downhill.

These boots provide excellent support and can therefore be used for multi-day hikes. The trecking or hiking boots have a sole that is more rigid than in Category A and the shoes also feature a higher shaft, providing better support to the ankles. The hiking boots are suitable for mountainous terrains, but for the real mountains, the sole is too lenient.
