The Merak Mid is a shoe from the explorer collection of Grisport. The shoe is made of leather and is equipped with the so-called Spo-Tex lining. This lining you will find through the different layers of the shoe, which makes the shoe breathable and waterproof. The shoes have a technical construction and are equipped with a support system. An effective fastening system around the heel provides comfort and control when moving the foot. The sole is made of Vibram, which consists of four layers for extra strength and stability. All this makes this shoe ideal for heavy mountaineering, rough terrain or hiking with heavy luggage on your back.
Category B
These boots provide excellent support and can therefore be used for multi-day hikes. The trecking or hiking boots have a sole that is more rigid than in Category A and the shoes also feature a higher shaft, providing better support to the ankles. The hiking boots are suitable for mountainous terrains, but for the real mountains, the sole is too lenient.
