The modern and functional upper is based on Hanwag LFX (Lateral Flex) technology and allows lateral flexibility. The new Hanwag Ferrata II is extremely lightweight, but this does not detract from its functionality. Finally, the boot is waterproof and breathable due to the Gore-Tex membrane.
