The Princeton Tec Helix Basecamp travel light is a godsend for evening activities when camping. This lamp is very handy for when sitting around in the evening, hanging in a tent, or using in the dark when you need both hands. The cover over the lamp ensures an even distribution of the white Maxbright LED or of the two red Ultrabright LEDs. This can also be removed to make the lamp a spotlight or for when cleaning the lamp. Each of the four legs is individually collapsible so that you can precisely direct the light. In addition, each leg has a hook recess through which you can hang this lamp on hooks, nails, or ropes. The lamp can be operated with a knob that is modelled after the operation of a classic gas lamp. Princeton Tec gives a 5-year manufacturer's warranty in the event of production faults and subject to the normal use of this lamp.

A torch or headlamp with the specification IPX-6 is fully waterproof. This means that the product will not be damaged when it is sprayed at any angle with a quantity of 100 litres per minute. This means, that the lamp can be used during a heavy rain, and you can even walk under a waterfall with this lamp without the product getting damaged.
