Item description

This Peakfreak XCRSN II is a sturdy and low trail running show made from material which helps keep your feet dry. The Peakfreak XCRSN II XCEL shoe has an OutDry membrane. This membrane is made of one piece and takes up the entirety of the inside of the shoe. As a result, the entire shoe is waterproof and breathable. There are no seams in this membrane, so no weak spots. In addition, this shoe is fitted with the Omni-Grip® technology, which ensures that you also have an optimal grip on wet, smooth and any other surface. The Techlite™ insole provides good cushioning while walking and supports the upward movement of the foot so you need less power and can walk longer.

Columbia Size Guide Women

Columbia works with specific shoe sizes. You can use our size guide below to determine the size you need. Note: The sizes and dimensions are simply indications and can sometimes differ. When trekking and hiking, it's of vital importance that your footwear fits properly and comfortably. Your heel needs to sit securely in the back and your toes need to have enough room in the front. You can test this by putting the shoes on without tying up the laces. If it seems that there is a bit too much room at the sides or that it's a bit loose, then the heel is too wide for your feet. A top tip for checking if a shoe is the right size for you is seeing whether there is enough space for you to fit your finger between the tip of the shoe and your toes. If there is not enough space, then the shoe is too large; it's important to have this space so as to prevent your toes hitting the shoe when walking downhill.

Category A

The hiking boots in Category A are designed for day walks on paved or well constructed paths. The shoes are lightweight and have a flexible sole. These shoes are not designed for mountain hikes, but are very practical to take on holiday, such as on a beach break. The shoes are often made with a low shaft and thus provide less support to the ankles.
