The Rope Tow III is Columbia's snow boot for very cold, slippery and wet conditions. These snow boots are specially designed to be used as walking boots. The top of the boots are made of a combination of nylon and leather with a PU coating that not only retains heat but also makes the whole boot waterproof. These warm snow boots can be used up to -32°C thanks to the materials used and the warm filling! The Rope Tow III has a special Techlite mid-sole which is a lightweight sole that provides good cushioning and even ensures that a portion of the energy is returned. The Techlite technology ensures that these qualities last the lifetime of the boots. In addition, the outer sole is made using the Omni-Grip technology which ensures that you have a good grip on almost every terrain, whether it be rocks, sand or wet surfaces.

Your heel needs to sit securely in the back and your toes need to have enough room in the front. You can test this by putting the shoes on without tying up the laces. If it seems that there is a bit too much room at the sides or that it's a bit loose, then the heel is too wide for your feet. A top tip for checking if a shoe is the right size for you is seeing whether there is enough space for you to fit your finger between the tip of the shoe and your toes. If there is not enough space, then the shoe is too large; it's important to have this space so as to prevent your toes hitting the shoe when walking downhill.
