POC is a Swedish company with a strong mission toward keeping the lives of sportsmen safe by reducing the consequences of accidents. POC was founded in 2005 and made its first entry to the ski racing market at the ISPO trade show. POC’s growing scientific forum to support its mission consists of some of the world’s foremost sports medicine experts, brain scientists and specialists in spinal cord injuries. At the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics, US alpine ski racer, Julia Mancuso won the gold medal in giant slalom wearing a POC helmet and goggles.
