The Fornix Backcountry MIPS ski helmet offers excellent protection during winter sports. This helmet is from the Swedish brand POC and has the MIPS system (Multi Direct Ionele Impact Protection System). This system reduces the twisting forces in the event of a collision. This is done by the cushioning layer between the inner and shell of the helmet. The aramid reinforcement, which the helmet shell features, spreads the load over the entire helmet and reduces the impact of the blow. The helmet features a Recco system, which allows rescuers in an accident to detect the helmet easier. Besides the protection, this helmet also offers excellent comfort, including the adjustable fit and ventilation holes.
