The Yeti 500X from Goal Zero is the most powerful and compact successor of the Yeti 400. The Yeti 500X has a capacity of 505 watt hours and thanks to the various output channels you can really charge or power everything. The Yeti 500X is equipped with USB-A and USB-C charger, car connection and AC output. You can charge the Yeti 500X with the AC adapter and, in addition, you can charge the power station via the 12V car port. It is also possible to combine the Yeti 500X with one of the solar panels of Goal Zero, so you can fully survive on solar energy in the wilderness. The Yeti 500X can fully charge your smartphone up to 40 times, charge a laptop 8 times, and power a TV for 3 hours.

Great all in one solution for power storage

I have only recently purchased the Yeti. We wanted a backup power supply for essentials for likely electric power shortages after Brexit. We will be connecting a solar panel and topping up charge overnight by cheap rate grid electricity (using a smart plug). I'm very impressed by the robust construction, built in trolley for moving, the variety of inputs and outputs (in both cases allowing for AC and DC). We will be plugging in a low powered freezer to the supply full time. We are awaiting delivery of the freezer so haven't been able to test this yet.

Very very impressed what a tool just great. Cannot think of anything bad to say, as does what it says on the tin. Just great.
