This Yeti 1500X power station from Goal Zero is a quiet, environmentally friendly way to provide your electronics with energy. The dimensions of the power station are 25.6 x 38.8 x 26.4 cm, the generator weighs about 19.5 kg, and it has a capacity of 1516Wh. The power station makes no noise and does not emit gas or smoke. If you charge the Yeti 1500X using solar energy, this takes an average of 17 - 35 hours. Use of Goal Zero solar panels is recommended for this. Charging the Yeti 1500X by means of the socket takes an average of 7 hours. The Yeti 1500X can be used to charge a 12V LED lamp, which can then be used for 475+ hours, but also to fully charge a laptop 30x or power a refrigerator for 25 hours. It is provided with a universal plug suitable for use with UK and EU sockets.

Great all in one solution for power storage

I have only recently purchased the Yeti. We wanted a backup power supply for essentials for likely electric power shortages after Brexit. We will be connecting a solar panel and topping up charge overnight by cheap rate grid electricity (using a smart plug). I'm very impressed by the robust construction, built in trolley for moving, the variety of inputs and outputs (in both cases allowing for AC and DC). We will be plugging in a low powered freezer to the supply full time. We are awaiting delivery of the freezer so haven't been able to test this yet.
