The Ridgewood Low from Teva is a nice walking shoe suitable for modern trail paths. This shoe has a leather upper that ensures that your foot maintains a good position and also protects it against stones and grit. Underneath this outsole is a waterproof and breathable membrane that ensures that your feet will remain dry even during rainy weather or in wet areas without your feet feeling clammy. The shoe contains a soft, lightweight and responsive PU footbed that will support your foot and ensure that you can walk longer. To support your foot even better, the shoe also contains a stabilizing midsole. The rubber Vibram outsole has a deep profile which ensures that you will also have a good grip on slippery surfaces. This lightweight shoe falls into category A/B and is therefore suitable for slightly hilly terrain or to wear during long distance walks. Ideal for a hike or beautiful trail trip.
Category A
The hiking boots in Category A are designed for day walks on paved or well constructed paths. The shoes are lightweight and have a flexible sole. These shoes are not designed for mountain hikes, but are very practical to take on holiday, such as on a beach break. The shoes are often made with a low shaft and thus provide less support to the ankles.
