This variant of the Hedgehog Hike walking shoe has a half-height length. The The North Face Hedgehog Hike GTX boot features a breathable GORE-TEX® membrane which keeps your feet dry and warm during hiking or other outdoor activities, but also ensures sufficient ventilation while walking. The hiking boot can be used in all weather conditions. Thanks to Vibram under sole, it provides extra grip so that you do not have to worry about slipping. The TPU shank combined with CRADLE heel stability also ensures optimal support for your foot. This is an ideal boot to go hiking with, especially if you are walking on different surfaces and in different weather conditions.

These boots provide excellent support and can therefore be used for multi-day hikes. The trecking or hiking boots have a sole that is more rigid than in Category A and the shoes also feature a higher shaft, providing better support to the ankles. The hiking boots are suitable for mountainous terrains, but for the real mountains, the sole is too lenient.
