1996-2000

Peak Performance Gore-Tex®
Peak Performance clothing is provided with the special Gore-Tex® membrane which has proven to be durable, windproof, waterproof and breathable at the same time. This unique combination allows you to withstand almost any extreme weather.

The unique Gore-Tex® membrane from Peak Performance is the best of all Gore Tex® material. The material contains more than 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter, making the membrane completely waterproof on the outside, but perspiration from inside can still be removed.

The Gore-Seam®Tape also provides fully sealed seams and small stitch holes for sustained water resistance. Even in severe conditions and after prolonged use, the product will still be water repellent.

What constructions are there?
You can choose from three of the different constructions of the Gore-Tex® material, as follows:

2-Layer Construction:
Ideal for diverse outdoor activites as it only connects the Gore-Tex® membrane to the outer fabric.

3-Layer Construction:
The 3-layer construction connects the Gore-Tex® membrane with both the outer and inner lining. As a result, there is no movement between the layers, thus increasing durability.

Z-Layer Construction:
The Z-layer structure connects the Gore-Tex® membrane with a lightweight material, but still with space between the layers, leaving more freedom for movement.
