This handy backrest from the famous Dutch brand Nijdam is especially suitable for the wooden sleds of Nijdam (not suitable for Nijdam foldable sleds). This backrest gives extra safety and stability when you're sitting on the sled, ideal especially for small children. The backrest is easy and quick to attach to the sled. The backrest is supplied with attachment buttons.
About Nijdam
Nijdam originated in the 19th century by the owner Hotse Nijdam, who was a professional carpenter. Nijdam began producing skates and when he died in 1937, his wife and two sons took over the company. In 1966 Nijdam was purchased by Schreuders Sport who specialises in speed skating and other winter sport products. Today, Nijdam continues to specialise in making skates including figure skates, speed skates and ice hockey skates. Nijdam's product line is very wide therefore it is suitable for everyone from recreational skaters to professional athletes.
