The insole of the boot is also antimicrobial and can also be removed. The boot is also extra reinforced at the toes, so that you will not suffer in your feet if you hit your toes. Furthermore, the mountain boot has a Heel Lock System that keeps your foot in the right position in almost all conditions while at the same time ensuring sufficient freedom of movement. The Berghen Karakorum STX High is a walking boot from category C which means that the boot is suitable for long trekking trips (with heavy equipment) in extreme conditions. The boots also come in handy on risky and stony roads.
