The Free Rider 20 S Avabag from Ortovox is a luxury rucksack that is ideal for the most challenging off-slope adventures and freeride trips. The most eye-catching feature of this rucksack is the space that it has for the AVABAG avalanche airbag system that can be activated with a cord during an avalanche. The system can be adjusted so that you can practise with the system, but not actually use the airbag. The rucksack itself comes from the Free Rider line and this bag has a capacity of 20 litres, and this content is divided into six different compartments. In the back of this ski rucksack is a special back protector that ensures your back is well protected in case of an accident. This protector is flexible, which means that it will not only shape itself to the shape of your back, but it will also help absorb the shock of the impact. On the outside of this bag are many different hanging points, so there is an attachment for ice picks, ski poles, your snow shoes or your snowboard, and a net to hold your helmet. You can also install a drinking system in the rucksack, so you can stay hydrated during your activities. The inside of this bag has an extra light colour so you can easily see what you're doing in low light. Due to the hip strap, this bag will always stay perfectly in place.
