The Quantum is a backpack from Deuter which allows you all to take everything you may need for long trips. This backpack has many possibilities to allow you to bring as much as possible. For example, there is bottom compartment with removable divider, multiple pockets on the sides and a handy compartment in the lid which allows you to have quick access to certain belongings. In order to open the main part of the bag there is a u-shaped zipper which allows you to unpack fast or pack large items. Inside this main compartment there is pockets to put your valuables and there is also a compartment to store your wet clothes in. On the back side of this bag there is a detachable pack which gives you an extra 18 litres of luggage space, and you have the option of using this bag on smaller day trips. On the outside of the main compartment there are various attachment points so you can attach a sleeping mat for instance. The Aircontact system not only provides a comfortable fitting backpack but also helps to drain the excess moisture keeping you feeling fresh for longer. The curved aluminium X-frame is flexible without sacrificing stability. The back panel, waistbands and shoulder straps have a soft lining so that they do not strain your back.
